As stated, provide the ability to place an older version of components. Design standards often change and there will be a need to utilize an older version of components if they are updated to meet current standards while a project uses legacy standards.

Additionally, it would be ideal to have specific controls from an administrative standpoint to toggle on/off the ability to place old versions. There will be occasions where allowing an older version of a component to be placed would be undesirable.
