We had a situation where there was an issue in our source models that caused the synchronization process to hang/fail (SR 7001478437). Instead of writing a ticket and waiting for Bentley to cancel the synchronization (which took days), the Project Administrator should be able to cancel synchronizations on the user's behalf. For those situations where it is a known issue that can be resolved by the project, or this will save a lot of time.
Want to reiterate the need for this. If a sync is taking too long, it can delay other connections from synchronizing. The iTwin Owner and Admin roles should have the ability to stop a sync at will, so the problem can be diagnosed and a new sync can be started.
It's been over a year since this comment was added, I'm surprised this hasn't been added yet. Creating tickets and waiting is taking time, sometimes a week can be wasted waiting especially with the time differences too.
