Enterprise Administrator - Office 365 Co-Authoring Settings - Default not being included in Used in Projects

We have created a company SharePoint site to enable internal and external co-authoring—“SharePoint—internal and external co-authoring.” We have configured this, confirmed the operation, and set it as the default storage for new co-authoring sessions.

If we manually set the “SharePoint—internal and external” co-authoring name on a project, it is included in the Used in projects. If we leave it on the default, although technically the same setting, it is not included in the Used in projects, even though the listing in the settings tags this as “Default” any projects automatically allocated via the Default are NOT included in the Project Count / Link

Could all Projects that use the Default setting, whether allocated on creation via Default or allocated manually, please be included in the Used in Projects count/link?
