Projects often involve multiple users who are added at different stages, including design, bidding, construction, and utilities. This creates training and standardization challenges when setting the unit system. Currently, each user is expected to manually configure the units upon joining the project.
However, if even one user misses this step, the project coordinates may change, leading to discrepancies in tools and potential issues in the field.
To avoid these problems, the unit system should be defined at the project level so that all users automatically view and work within the same units.
This functionality is much needed and will greatly improve the efficiency BIC has to offer project execution. It it critical that all users are working from the same/correct coordinate system.
