rather than attachments (which would be uncontrolled once downloaded) it is far better to send a link to a file / set located in PW via transmittal. This could be as a link in the cover letter or an option to go to folder when viewing the transmittal from the portal. - email attached outlining request. even better would just be the URN link being displayed rather than having to attach a physical document.
the linking of document sets and other files as a link in PWDM is so important to our organisation. Bentley can you please revisit this as it is cause us and i imagine a lot of orther organisations issues with informaiotn control and version
Sorry, this cannot be supported with the current structure of how PWDM operates.
This idea would be interesting more for performance reason. For security reason, we could think about attaching a read-only file to a package or to protect by password the files in a package with an option like 'confidential' that could be 'secured'. Or to avoid files to be copied on the cloud, we would need to be able to provide a link to PW Web connection and not only PW Explorer.
