It would be great to have the 'Send to Deliverable Management' option on a list of selected documents in ProjectWise Web like we have in ProjectWise Explorer. We would need also the Deliverable Management node in PW Web and allow from this node to import documents of a DM package in ProjectWise like we can do with PW Deliverable Management connector for PW Explorer.
With PW Web being a much easier tool to access on site or using any PC, this functionality is important without requiring the full PWE install. Also being able to view the transmittals a document was issued on within Projectwise Web, with a link to the package would be ideal.
Defeats the purpose of PWE if all other functionalities are available in PW Web. These Bentley applications have their distinct functions and mainly for Web it was intended for an instant access to files using browser and also used for review and collaboration. As as best practice and as recommended, PWE should be the main app for document control/management , review workflows and a more efficient delivery of project information. I suggest a mobile app version for Web is more ideal but understandably will have limited functionalities as well.
