When files are deleted from a Managed Workspace, they are not deleted from the local user directories.
This is a huge problem. The whole point of using a Managed Workspace is to ensure end-users use company standard design libraries, cells, specifcations, etc. However, ProjectWise doesn't handle maintaining a synchronization of local Managed Workspace files.
If a file is deleted in the Managed Workspace, these files still remain in the local user directories and can be accessed via Bentley Design Applications.
For example, while using Specifications in Openplant, a company discover erroneous data in a Specifcation file, and need to delete this from use from all users. However, this is not possible without manually asking each user to delete this file locally.
This is not truly how a "Managed Workspace" should function.
