Better error reporting on problems with Managed Workspace

Lately we did not succeed in opening any dgn file linked with our Managed Workspace.

We received the following error message:

"Last Error 222 Cannot start application for a specified document. Failed to generate managed workspace configuration file. File not found on server"

In the pw.log file there was no mention of the file that was causing the problem

So we had to find a way to locate the file that caused the problem without the ProjectWise system helping us. As a result, 50 persons were not able to work in ProjectWise for a full day.

At the end we found a file in the Managed Workspace that was corrupt or not existing in the Storage. Deleting the file using ProjectWise corrected the problem.

Our question is the following:

It would be interesting if a message indicating this problem would be shown with sufficient elements in the message to find the document / file (hierarchy of folders + name of document).

Also add this information in the pw.log file.

    Hi,
Workspace debug file generated in working dir is helpful in troubleshooting concerns.
However it would always be great to have more details for an error instead of searching it manually for the cause.
    Thanks
