When an external organistion is invited to a project, they inherit the full available recipient list/address book (of external and internal users) for sending RFI's, General Correspondence and Transmittals.
Practical use of functionality?
Where an external organisation needs to send correspondence to multiple organisations on the project, or cc other external organisations who are existing members of the project, they need to have full visibility of the users on the project for sending this information. |

What is the impact of not doing this?
In many instances there is more than one external organisation on a project, and often these External organisations may need to cross communicate between each of the organisations or cc in on RFI's, General Correspondence and Transmittals. External Organisations are currently unable to send to other external organisations unless the Project owner forward everything separately when received, or the Ext Org re-invite the other external Orgs to their project. This then means the organisations end up with Multiple Project Sites for the one project and have to remember which one relates to which external organisation. |
