transmittal docs' attributes not populated in cover letter in web interface
when creating a transmittal in web, transmittal docs' attributes are not populated in the cover letter. for the same docs, it works fine in PW Explorer
Practical use of functionality?
it should behave the same in both web and PW Explorer
What is the impact of not doing this?
it forces non-CAD users (e.g. doc controllers) to use PW Explorer to create transmittals
Attribute information should be picked up in cover letter when issuing package in PWDM Portal if they exist in the draft itself. Can you confirm that the attributes are populated in the transmittal draft? If they are not populated in the draft, there might be a misconfiguration of environment that is set in PWDI. The view that is used in Deliverables Management needs to belong to the same environment that is set for ProjectWise work area. And if the user performing draft creation has a Personal view setup in PWDI, that view needs to include Deliverables Management view attributes.
