PWDM Interface under the web client

Request is to allow a web interface that would resume the PWDM activity in the same way we have under the PWDI

Practical use of functionality?

Allow non PWDM user to access basic transmission information.

Allow user to perform search against those PWDM attributes expose in the interface

What is the impact of not doing this?

None PWDM participant working from of the web client does not have access to PWDM info.

The global idea is to allow the data to be expose to the the right people.

Making sure any participant can be expose to the basic PWDM data to help them in the decision process.

    Hello Justina

Under PWDI with the PWDM integration, we can see under the document list, PWDM information associate to a document. Example we can see the Transmission number , the type of transmission etc....

I we could filter those column, like someone might be interested to see only the outgoing.

PWDM is also use as an internal review tool.

The PWDM status is already exposed to users.

So the idea is to have the same kind of panel.

PWDI interface is getting the weight of its age, but still have some good things and concept, we would like to see port to the web ;-)

Thank you for the follow up

Can you clarify what specific information you are talking about?

When you say "non PWDM user" do you mean someone who doesn't have permission to access PWDM service? Or someone that has access to PWDM, but doesn't participate in package exchange?

If a user doesn't have permission to view PWDM package information the only value that is exposed to them is "Response status" document attribute. If documents are imported in PWDI and "Response status" value is set, it should be visible to everyone who has access to the documents both in PW Web connection and PWDI.
