We have a need to recall individual document from a transmission.
We send 50 documents in a transmission and 5 of them need to be recall to be resend as part of another package or in a new version of the same package OR simply because they are no longer needed.
Example the client flag issues, he get back to us prior to send his response, and we decide from a common agreement to remove the document as it is no longer needed or not accurate enough and the document will be split into two document. making the one we send obsolete.

Practical use of functionality?
Review environment is a dynamic environment where things can change and evolve, especially on tights schedule. As such a document that we start a review process, may no longer be valid by the time the review process is complete or we might wanted to send a new version of the document. |

What is the impact of not doing this?
We have occasions that it make more sense economically and from a schedule point of view to recall one or few documents from a transmission than waiting for the final review and resend the document. |
Hello Justina
Yes in some case this could potentially be used. It migh create dark data becaus ethis will be place in a comment and it will be hard to report agaisnt a comment.
We also have transmisisons, that once send we need to recall individual documents. For some reasons beyond my reach, the project does not want to place this task as a client responsability and as such the project need to recall individual documents.
I suspect as well to be related to a legal responsability as a client "will not repsonse" will not be the same as a docuent being recall.
And some transmisison by contract do not have the option "Will not repsonse"
Could you mark the document with "Will not respond" status adding a comment about the decision and what will happen with this document in the future packages?
