When markups are added to a transmittal by the reviewers and then returned to the submitter, the submitter sees the receiving in ID numbering on the redline annotations (e.g. SUB-0001) however in the Markup listing with the comments the issues are IDed with the ID numbering that is specific to the submitter side (e.g. TRA-0004) thus making it confusing which redline/annotation/issue in the markup on the drawing matches to the listing of issues in the markup right hand listing
Practical use of functionality?
An external team submits a transmittal and the receiving organization adds several issues by redlining and commenting. With different IDs for the same markup/issue it is confusing what comments align to which issue/markup on the drawing |

What is the impact of not doing this?
This can create delays, confusion and inefficiency in resolving issues and communication gaps between teams |
