In cases where multiple documents are issued to a recipient for approval, and the recipient initially submits response to only one (or less than all) of the issued documents, there is no way to be aware of this 'partial response'.
The responder will still return response to the remaining documents, but at a later stage.
It would be beneficial to the person who issued the transmittal to receive an automated notification email for 'Partial response received'; and for such partial response to be included into the 'Export to Excel' report.

What is the impact of not doing this?
Progress/time impact; i.e. the sender is not aware of partial response being returned. If there was an automated notification available, the sender could have continued work on the one document for which response was already returned, whilst waiting for response to be returned on the remainder documents issued. |
