Under the Construction join venture ( CJV) the Designer expose they folder structure so we can have a direct access to their documents.
At some point either organisation will need to create a transmission and add documents cominng from either side..
Since we can see the attributes when browing the folder structure, when adding a document to a transmission we expect to be able to retrieve the attributes as well.
Which does not seems to be the case
Request is to allow trasnmission to retrieve any attribut commning from any organisation and from any connextion

Practical use of functionality?
Make joint venture as seemless as possible as the line between the two organisations extist but get blur but still need to exist :-) If we start a transmission from PWE we are limited to pick documents from one datasource only. Event if we have share our Datasource connection |

|
What is the impact of not doing this?
Make the join venture as transparent as posisble while allowing organisation to preserver their bundaries. |
We cannot reproduce a scenario when attributes are not picked up from the secondary Web connection. Could you create a service ticket in order for us to investigate what is the issue with your setup?
Hello Justina
Our setup is a varion of : « Has a secondary ProjectWise Web Connection to ProjectWise project associated with Work Area »
The view retrieve the correct attribut under the web connection, however the transmission is unable to retrieve the document attributes.
We have two PW DI server
Each server has it's own Work area
Each Work Area are connect to the Web connection under a single web project
The attributes should be retrieved from the second Web connection. Could you please review this article and check if you setup your views correctly?
