Use for:
Document Control Lead Audits, company QA control audits, and Managers/Directors
Why?:
Company can have an overview of all projects/clients/responses on one excel instead of running multiple reports and manually combining.
Basic overview:
Somewhere on the "Projects" homescreen have a master "Deliverables Management" button
Select certain projects (if running a report for one client's list of projects), or "all projects" for complete overview of all projects from all clients.
Select "Date Range"
Hit "Export to Excel"
Downloads to your computer, where you can pop filters on and overview the current status of all projects.
(Same criteria in the excel as found in the individual project Export to Excel Reports.)

Practical use of functionality?
As Document Control Lead I'm asked monthly by company management to run reports for them to track project Deliverable information - such as client responses/QA issues/rejection rate, etc. This helps them with invoicing, scheduling (XX% completion, etc), internal project issues, etc, with the clients involved and gives management & myself an internal snapshot of where is what for the month period. |

What is the impact of not doing this?
At the moment you need to run individual project export excel reports and combine them - not practical with over 100 projects active/30 clients. |
