Project JV

We face a situation where the confidentiality of the communications is a key factor to setup a project.

As such we end up with having to setup three projects to have three distinct DM transmittal distribution center.

Request is to allow to setup multiple DM distribution center under a single project rather than having three project

Practical use of functionality?

To ensure that, any communications between two party will remain secure and not visible unless explicitly request.

What is the impact of not doing this?

It force us to create three distinctive project which on the long run we are not sure if we will face limitation for such configuration.

    Hello Noel

Not a distribution matrix. This would be another subject.

Each party involve in a project should have their own private DM. This way when a communication is issue, only the participants involved in the communication can see the conversation and participate.

Example A want to review document with B. As of today if C is internal and have access to the DM, he will have access to the review. yes in the case of transmittal we can use the confidential option, but still C being internal he has access to all communication in the DM inbox and outbox not confidential.

For RFI between C and D and until the conclusion of the exchange, the communication need to stay visible only to C and D. As of today this can't be done as no confidential option exist for RFI.

So by allowing each participant to have their own DM center. They can exchange between them and keep all communications private unless they share the communication or its content to someone else.

The option of confidentiality still need to exist as some document being exchange may be sensible and cannot be share even among the same company.

I try to illustrate with the attach below. Unless share or add a participant to an exchange the communication stay between two participant. Each (send+receive) binome is visible to those who participate unless a third party is being invite.

Hi, thank you for your request. but I need to clarify some details you are requesting a separate distribution matrix within PWDM? Please see the screenshot below for reference:

    Questions:

    1. What is the reason why you couldn't add all the information into a single distribution matrix for the Project?

    2. If we had separate distribution matrices how would the transmittal process know which to use for an individual transmittal?
