Align Priority with Scheduling in RFI tool

Within the RFI tool it is a mandatory requirement to assign a priority setting to the RFI (High, Medium, Low). Separately there is a requirement to add a response due date. Typically in project delivery the response date for an RFI or TQ aligns with a corresponding date, e.g. Low = 14 days, Medium = 7, High = 3. My request is that if by selecting the Priority it would automatically assign the correct response date therefore reducing the risk of the originator getting this wrong.

Practical use of functionality?

Example is that an RFI is raised with a High Priority but the default setting in PW is 14 days. The RFI Originator does not check the Scheduling tab and therefore the response date is not correct as per the contract standards.

What is the impact of not doing this?

The impact is that due dates for response could inadvertantly not be met.

    The number of days and the level of priority need to be customizable. In our case we foresee 5 levels of priority

    I agree with Vic. This will really help our business users and client to utilize RFI tool effectively.
