Currently, you cannot use the delete key and only the right-click copy and paste function is working. Many users have been manually typing because they believed the paste function was not available. It's unclear why this feature was removed in the first place.
This behavior is now fixed. This was an unintentional side-effect of adding keyboard shortcuts. In case other keyboard shortcuts end up causing trouble, they may be disabled or changed using the Keyboard Shortcuts dialog.
