The drive tool in iTwin is designed for roads, not rails.
When the camera is offset, it raises and lowers erratically, when it should maintain its height according to the rail - nothing else.
Please create a tool tailored for railway infrastructure and not roads. This will greatly help viewing designs and increase the user's confidence in the platform.

A new option has been added to the drive tool to allow height calculation from the 3d alignment geometry only rather than surfaces associated with it, we hope it resolves this issue!
