A WRE function that can change the state of the previous version in a specified state can be moved to a superseded state when the updated version reaches that specified state. It would also be useful to have the obsolete version set to the final status. This is to handle the common situation that a released (Shared or Published) document remains the current version until such time as the updated version is approved and released there by replacing the obsolete version.
