But have the option not to replace the document name with the document code when using the advance wizard.
We age both case where: 1) Project want the document code to the document name 2 We also have project where the document name act as the document tile and should preserve the filename in the docuent name........ but the fiename need to be the document code. Which for option 2 we need to switch the document code to be the unique name rather then document name.
Having the capabilities to set the placeholder for the document code in the Document Name, will help keeping Document Code » Document Name » Filename all in synch

This fall under change management, as the document may have been used in several operation and workflow and process, the impact could be important.
However the basic request to keep data in synch is a valid point
