When following up regarding the forwarded RFI, user often use the ID of the original package for communication with the team. This has cause confusion as the ID of forwarded package is different from the original submission.
The Originator cannot simply recall and add more people as RFI only allow 1 recipient to response.
Practical use of functionality?
This allow user to keep track and refer to the same ID for the RFI especially if it involve with multiple external organization.
What is the impact of not doing this?
Confusion and delay in providing required information for the RFI.
The forwarded RFI responses should also be automatically recorded against the original incoming RFI to prevent manual copy paste, risk of missing an RFI response or adding response to the incorrect RFI. Alternatively it would be handy to be able to add external users as additional responders as opposed to "forwarding" - this will combat both issues
