In the Connection Client projects, there was an option to "Allow external team members" to an organization. This allowed to automatically entitle external users to an organization to participate in projects.
However, in Infrastructure Cloud this option is not available in the project settings, having to grant entitlements to external users in the licensing portal. For large organizations this is very inconvenient, given that typically license management is done by the IT departments.
We need this functionality too but need the ability to provide the external vendor with a license.
Thanks for your response and for considering this idea. Having the Connection Client's flexible licensing rather than the BYOL only is critical to drive Infrastructure Cloud adoption in large organizations (complex IT departments and license management, and multiple global customers and projects).
Bentley Infrastructure Cloud allows to add external participants to any project, but they will have to Bring their own License.
