It will be useful in case project is configured with DDM template and one should not be allowed to add participants manually.
With this feature, Business will get benefits in terms of avoiding project delay as incorrect recipients' addition error (by Manal effort) will no longer happen.
This can be introduced to system the same way it is introduced for "Package Types" required field - Check boxes for Mandatory/Non-Mandatory.

Practical use of functionality?
We have multiple external parties working on same the same project and we have created separate cloud projects for each external parties. Now all the separate eternal parties have their own DM areas and own Distribution Matrix. so, as they need to submit document using dedicated Distribution rule, they should not be able to submit it via manual efforts as it requires lots of training efforts. In short, if we configure Distribution rule as "Mandatory" field, then user will not be able to add recipients manually which will result in - "reduce Manal efforts, No Errors in distributing document, meet project timeline (Avoid unnecessary delay in project) |

What is the impact of not doing this?
If you will not introduce this feature, then it will result in Quality Issue, Project delay, backlog on individual's task. In short there will be huge impact on business outcomes. |
