Link issue

A) We have the same document send in diferent tansmission.
B) We have multiple version of a document in review in different transmission

Which lead to have mulitple issue relate to the same document but in different transmission.

Which lead to the same issue being raised mulitple times ( despite our effor to communicate to avoid this)

We are then request by the client to consolidate the issue into one single document.

The idea is to use the link issue available under the IRS and apply the same logic inside a transmission when reviewing documents

By linking two issue, one become the parent, if the parent is mark as resolve, the child will also be mark as resolved.

The other option is that we link two issue as mirror, if either one is mark as resolve the other will be mark as resolve as well.

This will simplify by huge amount the time need to consolidate issue

As of now we can see only the issue ID, if we could as well see the subject to help find similar issue

Update:
As i wrote this request i just realize, we can attach (link) issue to an annotation but not to an issue?

Practical use of functionality?

The same document is place into two transmissions. This result into two issue being create that need to be manage twice.

From the client side who raised the issue. They could link issue to mark then as clone.

The same from the document author, is they find issue that are similare, the could ask the reviewer to link issue if requets accept, issue will be link.

What is the impact of not doing this?

Consolidating issue using the link issue feature while in a transmisison, will be a huge time saving and reduce lot of overhead work.

Also be able to see the link issue wil definetly help . This will avoid traveling back to the IRS to see if an issue is link
