We have a case where the main reviewer is locate under one project and additional reviewer are locate under another project.
PWDM distribution matrix return a warning that both user does not belong to the same project.
At the moment the system does not allow this type of configuration for conducting a review.
Practical use of functionality?
We have independent checker having their own site and require additional reviewer from a different site. Or we have document control being ask to consolidate a review and the reviewer are locate under another project. |
|
What is the impact of not doing this?
Cost Is not being an issue, it is more a process we would like to achieve where a main reviewer would like to use any resource connect to the main project to participate in a review without the need to be member of the same projet. The notion of project may be miss leading in that case because two external partner have their own project but they are both participant to the main project as external. |
If the independent checker can't be added to the same project, you should use forwarding function instead of additional reviewers. Forward the package to the checker, once they respond the consolidator (who in this case is the only reviewer) would simply copy the forwarded response and change it to their liking before responding.
Quick Tip: Try below for quick check on configuration part:
Create New TRN - while adding new recipient, please select all (Internal + external) - you must see only one recipient (In case you get two recipients with same name and different project, you need to add project details in DDM template)
